Kayley’s 12 days of Christmas is a spread a smile initiative that is all about contribution and finding small ways to spread kindness during the festive season.
Together Kayley and I thought of nice things to do for people in the lead up to Christmas and so the 12 days of Christmas was born. We hope you will enjoy reading about our adventure in the blog posts!
We’d love it if you joined us in giving and find your own ways to spread a smile and some kindness, or copy ours but spread that smile! We’d also love to feature some of your stories in the spread a smile section of our website so please send us your stories too and we’ll feature them on our website. Visit the spread a smile page for more information.
On the 11th day of Christmas, Kayley’s Chronicles has a new family member! We’d like to welcome little Popi to the Kayley’s Chronicles family.
We adopted Popi in support of The Orangutan Project which supports the rehabilitation of orphaned Orangutans with the ultimate goal of releasing them back into a protected forest.
Only 1 out of 6 orphans are lucky enough to be rescued – over 1,000 orphaned orangutans are living in rescue and rehabilitation centres. Care of these infants is costly and requires 24hr staff, veterinary, and nurse care to ensure they are in a healthy condition and have the best chance of returning to life in the wild.
We hope you will enjoy reading about Popi in the attached pictures and in updates from time to time here on Kayley’s Chronicles!
