Kayley’s 12 days of Christmas is a spread a smile initiative that is all about contribution and finding small ways to spread kindness during the festive season.
Together Kayley and I thought of nice things to do for people in the lead up to Christmas and so the 12 days of Christmas was born. We hope you will enjoy reading about our adventure in the blog posts!
We’d love it if you joined us in giving and find your own ways to spread a smile and some kindness, or copy ours but spread that smile! We’d also love to feature some of your stories in the spread a smile section of our website so please send us your stories too and we’ll feature them on our website. Visit the spread a smile page for more information.
On the 4th day of Christmas, we took a thank you treat to the very brave firemen and firewomen that so fearlessly serve us day in and day out. It was a practice evening at the fire department so there was a full team present.
Again, our reception was so wonderful and warm and Kayley, though shy, was so thrilled to have a photo with everyone in front of the fire engine. The whole team got dressed especially for the photo!
The fire department is on a voluntary basis where we live in The Netherlands and I am in such awe of their selfless bravery. Thank you for being so amazing.
