Kayley’s 12 days of Christmas is a spread a smile initiative that is all about contribution and finding small ways to spread kindness during the festive season.
Together Kayley and I thought of nice things to do for people in the lead up to Christmas and so the 12 days of Christmas was born. We hope you will enjoy reading about our adventure in the blog posts!
We’d love it if you joined us in giving and find your own ways to spread a smile and some kindness, or copy ours but spread that smile! We’d also love to feature some of your stories in the spread a smile section of our website so please send us your stories too and we’ll feature them on our website. Visit the spread a smile page for more information.
For our second day of Christmas, we decided that flowers would be a fabulous idea, after all, who doesn’t love flowers! So we took flowering pot plants to a care home and Kayely and her friend Jazzlyn (our reindeer in Kayley’s Christmas Chronicle) shared them with the 36 homes there. We chose flowering pot plants for longevity and so that the lovely people that received them can enjoy them for a longer time. The gardening center that provided them put a pretty ribbon on each of them so they looked even better.
The girls loved sharing their very early Christmas presents with everyone and the reception they received was warm and very special with hugs and smiles included.
